No Lay Multi-Matcher
Over the next few lessons we are going to explain how to use the various multi calculators available at Bonusbank. However, before you actually place any multi bets, we recommend that you also complete our Multis course.
Using the No-Lay Multi-Matcher
The no-lay multi-matcher identifies the best matches to put in your multi. It also calculates the EV (expected value) based on the available promo.
The multi-matcher is split into three sections. The top part is where we enter details of the offer…
On the left side we have put in the parameters. This offer is at Sportsbet and it is an NRL multi with a minimum of 5 legs. The minimum odds per leg are 1.10.
The middle section shows that we are placing a $50 multi and will get a $50 bonus bet if up to two legs fail. We expect to get 80% from any bonus bet that we receive. There is no profit boost for this offer.
On the right we have our 3 potential outcomes and the probability of each outcome occurring. We also have the expected value.
The expected value is not a guarantee of profit. You can lose on these bets. The expected value shows what your average profit would be if you placed this bet an infinite number of times. By continually taking positions with +EV we can guarantee long-term profits, but there will be some ups & downs along the way.
The next part of the multi-matcher uses data from the ATM to find the best matches within the parameters that we have set above…
If any of the odds have moved, you can manually overwrite the data here. When you do so the EV and other data at the top will automatically update.
You can also manually overwrite the data if you want to include an event that isn’t available on the ATM.
If you would like to change any of the selections you can do so in the ‘Events selection’ section at the bottom. You can manually add any events that are not being picked up by the software, if necessary.
Profit boosts
The example above deals with the ‘refund if legs fail’ type of multi offer. This is the most common type of multi promo that you will find. However, there are also promos which offer a profit boost based on the number of legs in your multi – the more legs, the bigger the boost.
For these offers you just change the bonus amount to zero and enter the appropriate amount in the profit boost section…
Same Game Multis
It is worth pointing out that this multi-matcher is not appropriate for Same Game Multis. This is due to the fact that SGM odds are calculated differently. You can learn more about that here.
